Choice Not By Chance

This blog is actually for me.
In it I can control my environment,
write my thoughts and maybe later (and maybe not)
share it with family & friends.

Choose ye this day ~ ~ ~
“Each day and each moment you either carry your attitude with you, or your attitude carries you.”
That is a Debby-ism from a couple of weeks back.

I am blessed with a family base that was/is rich in LOVE. This has been a HUGE factor in my ability to grow into a 60+ mother, wife, friend and caregiver with a consistent evolution of receiving God’s Grace while still here on Earth. (That and talking to God every day) It helps me to choose what is important and what is not, and to balance the Martha and Mary that is in all of us.

I choose to look to myself (for the most part/ still working on it) when something is wrong or out of balance and have learned that some of the old ism’s (An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure) are valuable tools in preventing those wrongs and imbalances.

I choose to respect and value every living being
(including myself) because there is no reason that I deserve it any more than anyone else and that puts us all on equal ground,
which is where we all are in reality. It is not a
competition and there is no moral high ground that
can be earned here on earth that allows for anyone to look
down on any other human being.
If you give that respect and value to everyone
you come in contact with (or practice doing so) you are
building a better tomorrow for everyone.

I choose joy and rainbows!
It is better than any doctor or medicine
for your physical health.
Yes I cry and experience sorrow,
but I have it on good authority
(My Grandmother told me after she went to Heaven) that Joy cometh in the morning. (Selah)

Please don’t misunderstand. Satan comes knocking on my door every day and dings my spiritual armor with exquisite finesse. The more I choose to see with my inner eye from a place of love, the harder he works to divert my energy to darkness instead of light. But, you see, I have it so much easier than many. I have enough and abundance over and above enough.

So more than everything else, I choose to grow ~ at listening ~ at giving ~ at singing ~ at patience ~ at seeing beauty ~ at believing in us all ~ at being thankful for this great and marvelous GIFT of life !
